• If you would prefer to make your own image of your physical server and send it to us, we do provide a quick turn-around service at a discounted price (from our on-site price).
• Let us plan and implement your backup strategy, and we can deliver 100% backups of every server, every night while they are up and running. This is without the need of third party backup software on the ESX host or the Virtual machines. These are complete copies of the DSK files every day. Your Disaster/Recovery Plan has been simplified to restoring a tape and turning on virtual machines.

Evaluation and Plan:
We provide evaluation, implementation planning and design. We provide a comprehensive strategic design so your environment can be successfully virtualized.

Pilot:
Before moving Production servers into a virtual environment, we validate and proof that our design is a sound decision for your environment. PHD Consulting builds your Pilot program in parallel to your existing Production environment. We test and prove that VMware ESX is the correct solution and that our design fits your business and technological needs. We do this without harming your Production environment or physical servers.

Production:
When the pilot is successful and it is time to migrate your physical Production servers, PHD Consulting migrates your physical servers into virtual servers without interrupting your data center or your business. We can migrate as many servers in a day as we are allowed to. Users should not even notice the difference.

Observe:
After the P2V process is complete, PHD Consulting continues to observe the virtual Production environment for any special needs or adjustments. We provide your on-site IT team with the proper training and documentation so they have the required skills to manage your virtual environment.
